Don't mess with the Scots...we're talking about heirs to the Black Watch ("The Thin Red Line"), Camerons, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, Royal Highland Light Infantry, King's Own Scottish Borderers, Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, Royal Scots, Royal Scots Fusiliers, and my great-uncle's regiment, the London Scottish.

I like knowing that I'm 8th generation of Scots - along with a healthy dose of English & German, 2 dashes of French, & a splash of Mohican Indian. Thank Goddess all of that produced an intelligent, compassionate strong woman who happens to be American. I wish I were there to protest & shove a sign under his flaccid orange nose.

The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards charged the painter in that famous artwork “Scotland For Ever,” a few times, to enable her to draw sketches.

Check out the painting. Three horses are about to collide.

However, that is the spirit of Scotland.

They summon non-Scottish regiments to battle…even the Malaysian Army uses them.

Admittedly, they are a former British holding, so there’s the influence, but it’s still intriguing.

Here in America, the Irish dominate the pipe bands. That makes it unlikely my wife will be able to find a lone piper to play “God Save the King” at my funeral, let a lone a bugler to do “Last Post.”

Thank you all in Scotland for taking notice of what is happening in the US. Its all so disheartening and upsetting. It's nice to have normal people on our side. ❤️🙏

Can't humiliate someone who has no shame. Not sure they are obligated to admit him into their country given he is a convicted felon. How does he still have a passport?

We call him a lot worse than that! I can't post the pic I want on here, but look up "Janey Godley, Trump pic " . We are not quite as sensitive to one word in her placard as, many US people. But we do react with horror to "Trump".

Well - now I can see the need for the 1,500 police. Maybe Scotland should copy Trump and impose a "visa integrity fee". Make it comparable to the total cost of his visit.

Let him pay for his own security. It's a personal trip, not a government trip, so he should compensate personally for all expenses he has caused.

Right - like the way he "pays" for all his golf outings. Remind me why Fraud, Waste and Abuse does not apply to Trump.

True, the court is stacked with his cult members. Good news is that the immunity applies to all former and future presidents. So, his baseless claims against Obama won't go anywhere. Bad news is that it applies to all future presidents so we have to turn election Blue!

I have a friend living a few miles from Turnberry. "Polis" , (Scottish for police) everywhere. Helicopter every few minutes, strange vans in lay-bys with darkened windows. Obviously he is a much loved individual. Can't wait to see the Mexican flags flying on his Menie golf course in Aberdeenshire.

So much for keeping his nose out of his personal businesses. Once he's gone, Congress needs to get their act together and end this garbage. And put some real teeth into the emoluments clause. Scotland needs to cut off everything - power, access, etc. to the golf courses. Make him pay for everything.
