President Donald Trump is expected in Scotland on Friday for a five day trip that is being billed as a 'working visit' focused on his golf resorts at Turnberry and Menie, but some people in Scotland are not happy about it.
Protests are expected and people are angry about the huge bill and 1,500 police dispatched to protect Trump for his “private” stay:
A UK police chief has warned that Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to Scotland will place serious strain on already stretched policing resources. The US President is expected to arrive on Friday for a five-day private stay, which will include stops at his golf resorts in Ayrshire and Aberdeenshire.
All of that and some Scots don’t even want him there.
