Three Good-Feeling Signs of Change
From the beginning of the Elon-Trump divide to the Murdoch empire "collapse" to the fall of the Walmart stock price, change is coming and it might not be what the oligarchs wanted.

The mainstream media seems to enjoy promoting endless negativity, but here are three feel-good signs that things are changing.
1. The Beginning of the Elon-Trump Divide
Fortune reported what appears to be the beginning of the inevitable divide, “Trump warns Elon Musk building a Tesla factory in India would be ‘very unfair’ to his administration.”
The U.S. President does not support Tesla building cars in India, the world’s third-largest car market. Foreign brands, however, only compete for about a third of overall demand—and total EV sales are vestigial, growing to just 100,000 vehicles last year.
The Tesla CEO met Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week amid speculation the country could lower tariffs on imported cars, potentially paving the way for Tesla to launch in India. Local media reports suggested Tesla could enter the market in April, selling vehicles shipped from its factory in Germany.
Musk, thus far, has avoided India. At just 100,000 EVs sold last year, demand for high-tech cars like a Tesla isn’t remotely large enough to support local manufacturing and punitive duties that can double the cost of a premium-priced car.
“If he built the factory in India…that’s unfair to us,” said Trump, who only last week claimed he had Musk under tight control. “It’s very unfair.
Fortune points out that it’s unlikely Musk will be moving quickly with India, but not because of Trump. Rather, because Tesla growth “grinds to a halt.”
Tesla sales have dropped nearly 60% in Germany alone.
For evidence of how consumers feel about Teslas under unelected acting president Elon Musk’s leadership, check out the Musk protests at Tesla showrooms, which started small but are growing.
Trump bootlickers are running around claiming Elon Musk is destroying our institutions and putting every American at risk because we have to tear it all down in order to save money. It’s as if they don’t know anything about the man they worship. Trump is an adjudicated con artist with a long history of conning people. He didn’t run for office to help the country or her people.
There is no legitimate justification for Musk’s access to sensitive data and he is not following any legitimate protocol, even if he had clearance and authorization. Trump and Elon’s power grab is not popular.
If they wanted to prevent waste, perhaps they could start with Musk. According to the The New York Times, just two of Elon Musk companies account for at least $15.4 billion in government contracts over the past decade. Yes, billion.
It’s inevitable that Trump will tire of Elon hogging the limelight and Elon’s young son telling Trump to shut up while Trump sits like a scolded child at the Resolute Desk.
The question is only when this will happen. How long will Trump let Elon cosplay as President in order to bear the brunt of the blame for illegal things Trump was going to do by hook or crook? Luckily for Trump, he found yet another willing mark to do the dirty work. Elon is already facing backlash.
Basically:
As support for Trump implodes in record time, the people are mobilizing to object.
And it’s not just big cities, either. Pottsville is a small town in Pennsylvania with a population of about 12000. Their county went for Trump 70%. On Saturday, a crowd of about 100 people showed up to protest to “Save Our Constitution” in an effort organized by the local Democratic Party. Some carried signs calling out the unelected Elon Musk.
The chants included one of “No king,” and another of “He’s not your friend. He’ll screw you too.”
“Open your eyes, Republicans,” several people shouted.
And a registered Republican spoke up, saying our country is being “bullied.”
Debbie Sheehan of Schuylkill Haven said that she is a registered Republican, but that above party she supports “common sense, decency and morals,” which she feels Trump lacks.
“Our entire country is being bullied,” Sheehan said.
