Sounds like we need to stop watching CBS and Paramount!

The thing is, it doesn't matter if you watch or not. These Trump allies aren't buying media to make money. They're buying for control. These billionaires have enough money that they don't care if you ever watch CBS again. That's why this is so dangerous.---Jason

They can just re-brand CBS as "Newsmax"

A billionaire might want CBS as a vanity project, but nobody with any business sense is going to keep an asset that loses money because over half of America won't watch it, and the minority who will watch it can't afford to buy the advertised products.

How many crappy pillows does a maga cultist need?

So. We bow the F down because there’s nothing we can do to stop this?

THAT’s your plan?

Huh.

What you can do is disempower Trump by getting active to make sure the House or Senate flips in 2026. The answer is for you to use your voice and power at the ballot box. Protests and boycotts may feel good, but in this case, they won't accomplish anything since the people buying media want to destroy it.----Jason

TOTALLY AGREE. If we do not take control back, we're finished this time around. No more sitting at home. It's go time.

No definitely not. No one wants to watch news dictated by a pedophile/rapist. Most people, even Trump supporters are on to his game. I don’t see many pro-Trump rallies happening these days and that’s a start. We can’t give up ✊🏻🇺🇸

I watch Colbert for 1 more year. The rest already done. Paramount, there should be a general checklist for what they own so I can avoid it.

This is the way we can fight back against this BS.

One major thing we can do is boycott all products and services that advertise on all networks, this will definitely get their attention.

No censorship!

If you haven’t already read,

1984 by George Orwell and Brave New World by Alexis Huxley, I highly recommend everyone read these insightful books.

Agree about boycotts and non-watch promises. Hollow gestures when, as you say, they really don’t care. If things continue along this slope, will there be an exodus of talent, as we have seen new refugees arrive almost daily here? The MSM seems to be on life support anyway, I suppose the gullible will always be craving justification for their retrograde worldview, what better than to legitimize it with a “real” network.

Except by then, surely few of us will even notice. I barely scan the front pages lately, if they are not screaming daily about the madness, they are failures. I applaud HuffPo even if they’ve gone a little overboard, they alone out of other well-established outlets seem to be OK with the massive screaming headlines about the latest outrage. A good start, but a doomed one nevertheless.

It’s all about money. They have no principles. They aren’t patriotic. They only support the constitution when it supports their money. They don’t care about the country. They trashed the first amendment. They have betrayed democracy. I will not give an iota of legitimacy to CBS or anything Paramount from here on out. They are Benedict Arnolds.

You guys are playing into the hands of TACO. Carr is making policy that makes anything on tv that can be inviduous toward tRump will be dealt with by the FCC. What happened to CBS is total censorship. Colbert razzing tRump is nothing new. Comedians have made fun of presidents as far back since the last century. Examples Mark Twain, Will Roger's, Mort Sahl, Lenny Bruce, Dick Gregory, George Carlin, The Smother Brothers (they were canceled for all their political comedy), SNL, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, John Oliver, and Samantha Bee. Now there is no such thing as the 1st amendment as far as The Dictator in chief is concerned. It starts with CBS and the ppl will gradually not notice until all tv is under tRump's control & we only hear the MAGA version of tv. Carr says mainstream media lies on their reporting, then why hasn't it been challenged since 1948's John Cameron Swayze on NBC. My being old actually lends credence in TACO's B.S.
