Trump Has Taken Over CBS And Put A 'Bias Monitor' In Place Who Reports To Him
As part of the Skydance acquisition of CBS, a bias monitor that will report to Trump has been put into place to monitor the network's coverage.

The Skydance acquisition of CBS has been full of red flags and alarm bells from the moment the deal was announced. Stephen Colbert’s top-rated late-night show has been canceled by CBS. The network settled a bogus lawsuit by Trump to get the administration to approve the transaction. There are also reports that CBS has pledged to give millions of dollars in public service announcements to Trump's causes.
However, when the FCC approved the merger, Trump’s FCC Chair Brendan Carr made it clear that CBS’s independence was gone.
Carr said in a press release:
