Trump DOJ Opens Sham Criminal Investigation Of Tim Walz And Jacob Frey In Minnesota
Trump has backed off invoking the Insurrection Act in Minnesota, but his DOJ is criminally investigating Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.
The reason why more politicians don’t get charged with conspiracy is that conspiracies are very difficult to prove. Legal experts say that there needs to be actual evidence of a conspiracy to get a conviction in a conspiracy trial.
The Trump Department of Justice has consistently had indictments thrown out of court for not having enough evidence to support charges that they have brought before grand juries.

Trump backed off of invoking the Insurrection Act in Minnesota by telling reporters that he saw no reason to invoke the Insurrection Act.
The president told reporters, “It’s been used a lot, and if I needed it, I’d use it. It’s very powerful.”
The Insurrection Act has not been invoked since 1992, when California asked President George W. Bush to send in the military after the Rodney King verdict riots.
In contrast, Minnesota officials have told Trump to get ICE out of their state.
Trump has responded by having his politicized Department of Justice investigate Gov. Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey.
