It is disgusting how little coverage the protests are getting and are being underestimated in turnout numbers. Nationwide, there were more than a million participants in over 1,000 venues. The "tea-party" protests, which were nowhere near these numbers, had constant coverage by all the media. People are completely dissatisfied with this corrupt administration and are showing it daily; the media needs to cover it and show the disgust. Shameful!

The major media corporations that still exist have gone over to the dark side all for protecting their wealth and profits.

Thank you for gathering this cornucopia of vibrant citizens in action across our country; it is to savor, to feel the energy, and to be proud. These are folks who chose to loudly, colorfully, boisterously participate in our democracy, and to delay their otherwise traditional Labor Day activities. They are committed, determined, and will not be silenced.

Tens of thousands doesn't cut it at all at this late date in the rise of the fascist Trump regime. What would cut is ten million of us in streets. Not a whole lot less than that. There has to be too many of for the brown shirts of ICE to handle-- so many that the local police and national guards decide to side WITH the protest. Too many people who believe in democracy are still far too complacent.

People I know are afraid to get out there. That says a lot about the MAGA movement. I was at a protest yesterday and I would bet women outnumbered men at least three to one. And, the majority of those women I would guess are over 50.

I really wanted to go to a protest yesterday but I was traveling. I'll be attending a monthly one today, though!

Sarah, thank you for covering this. And Cathy M. and Kathryn are 100% right—the media blackout on this is a disgrace. They gave the Tea Party 24/7 coverage for a fraction of these numbers.

This movement is so important because its instincts are perfect: "Workers vs. Billionaires." That's the real fight.

But all of this righteous, powerful, vertical anger is being aimed horizontally at Trump. He's a symptom, not the disease. The same billionaire class that pulls his strings pulls the strings on the other side, too. The organizers have trapped this movement in the classic "Red vs. Blue" game, and the house always wins.

The real fight isn't Left vs. Right. It's a Vertical War: The People who actually do the work (The Gears) vs. the parasitic corporate state (The Rust) that has seized control of the entire machine.

Imagine if these protestors joined forces with the populist Right against their shared enemy at the top. That's a revolution.

Forget MSM they’re useless. Independent media has been covering all protests. Check out MTN UTube channel.
