Whether you live in a big city or a small town, a state that is red or blue, send us pictures and video of your local No Kings protest.
No Kings protests are and will be happening at 3,100 locations across the United States on Saturday.
The political landscape is shifting, as organizers say more than 50% of today’s protests are scheduled to take place in red states and other areas. The majority of the protests are also expected to happen in rural and suburban areas.

Two-thirds of the people who have RSVPed this weekend live outside of major urban centers, a significant increase from the first “No Kings” events in June, according to organizers. Racial diversity and rising education levels have resulted in the political axis shifting in many suburban communities.
I think CNN has got it wrong. The suburban unrest has less to do with education and racial diversity and is directly related to inflation, the economy, Trump’s immigration policies, and the war in Iran.
Some activists have suggested that today’s No Kings protest will be the largest in US history, which is possible in terms of the number of events, but it is unlikely in terms of number of people attending.
The largest single-day protest in US history was the 1970 Earth Day protest, which drew 20 million people. No Kings would have to triple in size to top Earth Day.
The George Floyd demonstrations and protests combined are estimated to have had 26 million participants in May and June 2020.
Today’s protest could easily beat the previous No Kings record for the single-day political protest of a president in US history.

The war in Iran could bring out anti-war protesters, but I suspect that economic displeasure remains the biggest driver of popular unrest.
