House Republican Disaster: As Rep. Scott Perry Hides Constituents Demand AOC
Here is how things are going for House Republicans. Constituents can't get Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) to hold a town hall, so they want AOC to come to the district instead.

It seems like every day, another Republican holds a town hall, and they are shocked by how angry their constituents are, but rarely do we see a town hall where the attendees state that they would rather have someone else talking to them and not their elected representative.
Rep. Scott Perry is most well known nationally for being one of the only members of Congress directly connected to the Trump coup plot after the 2020 election. Perry was doing more than talking. He was actively working with the Trump White House to overthrow the leadership at the Department of Justice so that Trump could use the DOJ to back his bogus election fraud claims and stay in the White House.
Perry is also a Republican who continues to defy the odds and keep his seat even though sizable numbers of his constituents consider him a human blight on democracy and would like to see him gone.
For context, Rep. Scott Perry hasn’t held a town hall in his district since 2019. His constituents recently held a mock town hall at the AFSME Conference Center in Harrisburg, PA. Attendance was so large that the venue had to open up the conference room to accommodate the crowd.
One of Perry’s constituents stood up and said, “ AOC because we can't get Scott Perry to have a town hall. She is traveling through New Jersey and Pennsylvania. And she will hold a town hall where your representative will not come. So please, call AOC and bring her here and shame Scott Perry.”
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) responded on X, “I’m making a list. Checking it twice. Finding which reps are naughty and nice…”
It would make sense if one of the eastern Fighting Oligarchy tour stops was in Scott Perry’s district or if Rep. Ocasio-Cortez came there and held a town hall on her own.
