I loathe it. Taxing billionaires is the logical answer they’d never miss the money.

When the Eisenhower rates were in effect, the rich were still rich, just not insanely so.

If the Republicans pass this, there will be an Imeachment Majority in the House and a Conviction Majority in the Senate come January 3, 2027, and Dilbert Dumbfuck will be out on his ass by the end of the month. Then we get rid of Corporal Couchfucker on a charge of Being A Douche, and then charge Dilbert in court for all the new crimes he's committed.

Why is Trump cutting taxes for billionaires to begin with? There should be no tax cuts for billionaires. The GOP is abandoning the working class and the poor. And Trump claims to represent working families. What hypocrisy!!

The republicans never cared for the working class. Why do you think that they ever did ?

They've been bribing him for years; tax cuts is a way to repay them.

Do polls matter anymore? It appears the oligarchs are giving the people the middle finger and daring them to do anything about it. Wealthy white men cannot tolerate having their money and dominance controlled by the masses and they are saying fuck you to their voters. Murica now.

When they talk about fraud in Medicaid, they are basically saying that the policies and procedures are not being followed by the state office employees that provide services and approve applications for Medicaid. I worked in the local office of my county and approved or denied Medicaid and snap applications. There are stringent regulations for approving and denying coverage. If it’s so corrupt, then get more people hired in these offices to do the work and stop gutting the programs. For every mistake made in approving applications, federal money is lost. Not more hiring to ensure that people have time to do their job accurately, less money and more stress on the economic service workers to get more done in less time. This legislation is stating that we the people don’t know how to do our job accurately

Does Congress actually give a shit about the public? I feel the motivation is only coming from securing their electability.

I honestly can't figure out why they think they won't pay a price at the ballot box. Impoverishing their voters means they can't pay into their war chests. And if Skum doesn't change his drug addled mind, he's not going to fund those chests.

The republican members of Congress are between a rock and a hard place, squeezed, angry, and frightened to be in a situation for which they are not prepared: They must decide to either vote FOR this bill, and lose the trust of their constituency AND their next election, or to vote AGAINST it and lose dt's support AND their next election. They have trumped themselves, have no options, are not anywhere in the art of dt's deal, except a VOTE before they lose, regardless of how they vote. Unfortunately it may not occur to them that they could Do The Right Thing on their way out the door, and support the people to whom they owe their former jobs.

It would be perfect if it went down in a ball of flames. But Trump has shown, over and over, that he can make things happen no matter if it's the right thing or not. So I'm resigned to the likelyhood that they'll strong-arm someone to at least make it 50-50 and have Vance break the tie. It's an awful bill and a lot of people will be hurt, but Trump just wants what he wants and that's to reward himself and his contributors. The MAGA masses...tough luck suckers.

If I had a Weasley spineless Legislator in my state of Colorado who claimed they knew better but voted for it anyhow, I would organize a campaign, not against Republicans but against electing INCOMPITANT, IGNORANT,IMBICILES and call on my attorney general’s office to investigate them for likely corruption!

Don’t try to throw Loren Bobert back at me,,, she doesn’t know better!

This is the showdown for republicans: do they care more about the people who pay them or do they fear the corrupt POTUS enough to screw their employers over?

The bill is an abomination when viewed from any angle. But, finding any MAGA legislative official from Tennessee that will vote against it? They're full-on party over country puppets that have abandoned their oaths of office. It's a sad legacy to leave for the world to see. Their constituents will suffer as hard as everyone else, but for them.

This bill does nothing to prepare for the future of America and it’s citizens! It leaves us vulnerable and most Americans will be burdened by the increased debt and high costs of living. I don’t know anyone who thinks this is good and I’ve not heard any experts that say this is a good thing. Ugh! 😣

Despise, loathe, and detest everything about it and everyone who votes for it should be voted out. It's especially infuriating that most of the cuts effects won't be really felt until after the mid-term elections (by design) when the Dems will hopefully be back in charge, so then the Rethuglicans will blame them and people will be too stupid to remember who really destroyed our country. Grrrr!
