“The more they learn about this bill, they hate it just as much,” CNN’s data analyst Harry Enten said. “I've been going through the historical books and trying to find a piece of legislation that looks more likely than not to pass, and seeing if there is one as unpopular as the big, beautiful bill. Trump’s bill has a net favorable rating ranging from -19 to -29 points. This indicates widespread disapproval. Quinnipiac University polls show a consistent -26 points since early June. The bill is seen by the American public as harmful to American families, with only 23% believing it helps compared to 49% who think it hurts.
