Proud to have been a part of this great event, but why are you blotting out peoples faces? We the people are not ICE and need not hide our identities; we sign what we say so it has meaning and we’re not hiding from anyone..

Musk put his money on the wrong horse. I suppose they both thought Americans were ignorant or wouldn't care. Or worse or all, though we would cheer them on. We watched Americans in the millions cheering for democracy and freedom. Today, Sunday, I couldn't be more proud of this country that I love. Smiling ear to ear, knowing we're going to be ok.

Great effort, now keep it going. This should be every week, everywhere until we start to see changes to Congress and recognition of our rule of law. Until we move the needle and get Republicans to look at the real issue and vote to help Americans, our jobs are not done.

Good work. We need this to happen repeatedly until we see a change.

You are correct. Until we see Congress doing their jobs or they lose elections we are not finished with the fight for our democracy. And it is up to everyone to do the right thing to protect us. The news outlets need to stop saying that the demonstrations were violent. They were peaceful protests against authoritarianism.

Was supposed to be over 200,000 for trumps parade. One of his own propaganda networks, Newsmax, estimated only 10,000. Sad for trump :-)

The streets were full of people and protest signs…. Completely peaceful and positive interaction among the protesters!

It was a wonderful show of unity of thousands who still believe in democracy!

Very inspiring!

People like Donald Trump should be tried and jailed for his crimes. They are not Americans, they are criminals…

Hardly any coverage of his stupid parade. Maybe on Fox.

There are YouTube videos showing him continually trying to keep his eyes open. For someone so gung-ho about the parade, he was one really bored "viewer".

Ha ha! In France they only commented on how the soldiers marched out of step, the lines of tanks were crooked and the poor turnout. Bastille Day 2017? NOT!

I forget what year I was in Paris on Bastille Day on The Champs-Élysées. The parade was spectacular. Trump is a fucking joke.

lol. it's pretty well known that trump was impressed by the French spectacle when he visited that year. So much so that he vowed to copy it/ outdo it. The French ( and the rest of the world) must be laughing up their sleeves.

So many creative signs at these events. A lady in front of me had a sign that said "Stop Truth Decay." Many people honking and just a few middle fingers. There were two coal burner pickup trucks being a-holes. Can you imagine doing that to a crowd of fellow citizens?

Greed, corruption, lying a d political violence have been normalized by the administration in the past 5 months. This is too dangerous to let continue. We nèed a solution put forth now before the situation becomes unsolvable. Even now it could take a couple of years to fix much of trouble.

He was escorted into the room by a National Guardsman and an FBI agent and was standing behind the press cameras listening to Kristi Nomes lie until he could not take any more of her lies. When he moved rather slowly past a couple of the cameras he was then grabbed by three security at which point he loudly stated his name and tried to get close enough to question Kristi Nomes abouther lies at which point he was manhandled back out the door. They manuvered out of sight of the press cameras before forcing him to his knees. They then slammed him face first to the floor befoe handcuffing very forcefully. Another person then blocked the phone cameraman who was again announcing who they were handcuffing.
