No Kings three showed that the protest movement that is being fueled by this administration's actions is only getting stronger and that is a problem for Republicans in November.
I am almost 96 years old but I particated in this event, I had to use my electric scooter but I did the entire March. Didnโt get a sign made so Will sent you a picture of me from the October No Kings event when my granddaughter made me a sign and marched with me.
Agreed. Along with the smiles, sense of community and humor, there was a strong undertone of resolute determination from everyone.
"The evidence continues to grow that the American people are rejecting Donald Trump and his administration like a bad organ. The corporate media keep hoping that the protests will go away, and the return of Trump to the White House will bring them the attention and profit that they crave.
The American people are taking their country back one historic protest at a time."
I read somewhere recently that the first earth day of 1970 drew an estimated 20 million people nationwide. This protest deserves that type of commitment from Americans now more than ever.
Without a strong commitment in defiance of the current administration we stand to lose all of the victories we have won over the past 80 years.
Our hard won freedoms are being chipped away now on an almost daily basis. I pray Americans will choose the path our parents and grandparents chose for us, freedom.
I'm 83, have a double knee replacement and find it tiring to stand for extended periods on uneven surfaces so I took my cane. We decided to go to Allegan County Michigan; the county seat of the county I taught school in for 37 years because it is a deeply red county and we knew the No Kings Day Demonstration there would have a lower number of protesters. There was a small crowd standing around on in the center of a roundabout, about 150 or more people. Some of my old colleagues were attending this same protest. Almost every vehicle that drove past sounded their horn. I did not see a single MAGA doing anything offensive. But that's generally not the Michigan Way.
Thank you Professor Kolk, for your thoughtful participation, to go where your presence was most needed. 150 folks are many, and the simple fact that THERE YOU ALL WERE, in the center of a roundabout (a good placement), means that many more saw and took note; they may be at the next one. Thank you for serving as an educator, too. Teachers are the heroes.
Thank you. Our growth from 7 to 8 million, although we did not make the 9 million, is solid confirmation that WE THE PEOPLE are not going away or getting quiet. This momentum, even more than the one day activity, reflects the commitment to democracy and the renewing sense of community across our country. From this will come the change, and the challenge to us to maintain the commitment to democracy and to the daily life of our communities.

I think it is time someone starts selling blue caps with TBOC [Taking Back Out Country].
