A young, seemingly unarmed woman was walking alone, she claimed trying to return to her residence, when she was told to leave the area. When she didn’t comply (presumably because she lived there), an officer/authority shot her with “less-lethal” munitions.

In video captured by labyrinthlore, we see her witness a woman who was walking alone and appears to be unarmed being shot by authorities on 3rd street after being shouted at by a line of officers to leave the area.

The woman who was shot is heard crying and in distress/pain as labyrinthlore (“Alexandria”) rushes across the street to offer assistance. The woman who was shot at staggers away from the line of officers who are still yelling at her to leave the area, but she seems unsteady on her feet after being shot (the angle is not clear in terms of showing exactly where she was shot).

The woman is heard crying, “I live here,” as Alexandria/ labyrinthlore helps her across the street.

Caution: Not safe for work language and content is disturbing.

“Less-lethal”, “non-lethal” munitions are not without risk, although they are intended to minimize harm. However, when misused, they can still cause “serious injury, disability, and death,” according to Physicians for Human Rights:

“Law enforcement throughout the world is increasingly responding to popular protests with crowd-control weapons (CCWs), also known as “less-lethal” weapons. The proliferation of CCWs without adequate regulation, training, monitoring, and/or accountability has led to the widespread and routine use or misuse of these weapons, resulting in injury, disability, and death.”
