I've never seen this kind of energy or as many protests during his first term. I am seeing it WAY more here in North Carolina. We were heading through Pittsboro NC en route to West End on April 5th and there was a HUGE "No Kings" protest outside the Chatham County courthouse.
Two weeks ago here in Durham, I saw one lone protester on the corner of MLK Parkway near the Social Security office with a "Deport Trump" sign.
I'm so encouraged by this. I pray this kind of energy sweeps Thom Tillis out of his Senate seat in 2026!
We are Canadians in Toronto who used to winter in florida for many decades and would like you to know that we totally support all you are doing.
We will be watching, learning and rooting for everyone supporting this cause and any cause that stands for democracy and kindness for all law abiding in the United States and all countries.
My husband who was not perfect but a great role model for visiting children. He used to say to them when they wanted him to drive faster on the cottage road ~ “This is the law. If you don’t like a law, then try to have the law changed but until then, obey the law.”
I have been posting about this day for weeks. This could be the day we send a clear message to a violent, dangerous, vile man that he is not a King, but a dictator in training. Let's stop him and do it without fear or violence. Right On America!
