Besides the fact that state polls are unreliable, and yes, the new state polls from CNN on Georgia and Michigan that show Trump with big leads should be balled up and put in the metaphorical trash can, because they are useless this early. State polling is notoriously unreliable at any time. However, there is a factor that all of the polling is missing.
The polling companies have decided that they aren’t going to ask about the potential impact on the electorate of a Trump criminal conviction.
