I don’t think they knew what they got when they first got him on the radar in the 80s and started grooming him, but they caught on and turned it up. And now, they absolutely own him. Personally, I’d love to see him and others flee the country … but the perfect denouement would be that no country that has the resources to support him in the way he’s become accustomed would take him, and he’ll end up like Martha in a bleak apartment block in a grey Moscow exurb. Or perhaps they stop protecting him and he gets offed by some state actor to prevent him / them from running his /their mouth. But realistically, his neurodegenerative symptoms are accelerating now, so perhaps none of us will have to wait too long to find out how many other moles got placed here.
One can hope! My husband had what Trump has and he was functional for quite a while and then he suddenly really went downhill. It’s awful except I honestly don’t care in Trumps case because he’s always been such an evil, crass, cheater. The sooner the better after all the harm, the viciousness, the crimes, the way he’s treated others so terribly. He’s not a worthy person.

He IS in that much peril but is that what makes him so terrified ???
