That’s a ‘no’ to actual legislation for the people, in case anyone wasn’t around the last time they were in charge.
When Republicans were running for the 2022 midterms, they (wrongly) decried that ordinary Americans didn't care about the January 6th Committee; rather, they cared about the price of gas and groceries. But as soon as Republicans got the majority, they breathlessly announced their upcoming revenge tour and it had nothing to do with gas or groceries.
