Washington Post Fails America By Declining To Make Presidential Endorsement
The right wing conservative leadership team at The Washington Post has failed the country by declining to endorse a candidate in the election.

The Washington Post Won’t Be Endorsing In The Presidential Election
For the last few days there have been reports of something unusual happening at The Washington Post. Reports of tense meetings with staff, as the newspaper’s recently hired right wing leadership team was rumbling about potentially not publishing an endorsement for the presidential election.
Those rumblings became a reality as NPR reported:
Even though the presidential race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris remains neck and neck, The Washington Post editorial page has decided not to make a presidential endorsement for the first time in 36 years, the editorial page editor told colleagues at a tense meeting Friday morning.
The meeting was characterized by someone with direct knowledge of discussions on condition of anonymity to speak about internal matters.
The editorial page editor, David Shipley, told colleagues that the Post's publisher, Will Lewis, would publish a note to readers online early Friday afternoon.
Shipley told colleagues the editorial board was told yesterday by management that there would not be an endorsement. He added that he "owns" this decision. The reason he cited was to create "independent space" where the newspaper does not tell people for whom to vote.
The Washington Post as an “independent space” is biggest load of nonsense that you may hear today unless you tune into a Donald Trump campaign event.
The Post has been making endorsements consistently since the 1980s, and Shipley’s excuse sounds a lot like Elon Musk’s talk of unlimited free speech.
What is really happening here is that Jeff Bezos installed a conservative leadership team that previously worked in the British tabloid industry and for Rupert Murdoch.
The publisher of The Los Angeles Times who is also a right wing conservative pulled the same stunt this week by refusing to allow the paper to publish an endorsement of Kamala Harris.
By not endorsing both newspapers are sending the same dangerous message to voter about the 2024 election.
