Trump’s Voters Are Being Arrested For Illegal Voting

Instead of proving that Democrats are cheating in elections, Trump’s DOJ is finding people who voted illegally for the president and non-citizen voting is rare.

Donald Trump is heavily invested in the unproven conspiracy theory that Democrats cheat in elections and win by having non-citizens illegally vote. Trump has unleashed his DOJ and directed them to find evidence of this vast web of Democratic cheating, but what the DOJ has uncovered isn’t a conspiracy, but a tiny, isolated anomaly that doesn’t impact the outcome of elections.

People who aren’t eligible to vote should not be voting. That is something everyone can agree on regardless of political affiliation or leanings. Only people who are eligible to vote should vote.

The president likes to pretend that people don’t illegally vote for Republicans that all of the illegal voting is done by Democrats, but even the DOJ’s own investigation is finding that this is not true.

For example, The Wall Street Journal reported:

Gabriel Covarrubias was driving to work from his home in the Atlanta suburbs when a state trooper pulled him over, citing his too-dark window tint.

The real concern: He was suspected of lying on a passport application and illegally voting.

Covarrubias, 44 years old, moved to the U.S. from Mexico when he was 14 and created a home-remodeling business after buying a false identity. He voted in the 2024 presidential election. Federal agents involved in his arrest asked him who he voted for and why: President Trump, a fellow business owner, he said.

Covarrubias, who pleaded guilty last month to two offenses, now faces up to 10 years in prison and possible deportation.

The DOJ only has 1,000 investigations going into potential illegal voting, which is nothing when hundreds of millions of votes are cast in presidential elections.
