At some point, the mainstream media will have to stop covering for Donald Trump and themselves for backing him, and admit that the 80-year-old president seems to have some serious issues going on.
After Trump put his name on the Kennedy Center and was ordered by a court to remove it, the president responded by keeping a tarp over the front of the Center so the American people could not see that his name had been removed.
Trump’s handpicked Kennedy Center board then voted to add the president’s name to the building through a piece of text saying, “renovated by Donald Trump.”
Rep. Joyce Beatty filed a new lawsuit to block this text from being added.

In a response to Beatty’s suit, the DOJ is threatening that Trump will demolish the Kennedy Center unless his name is added to the building.
Lawyers for the DOJ wrote:
In fact, though Congresswoman Beatty voted against the August 13 measure, she explicitly stated that she had “no objection” to one component of it—re-naming the Center’s grounds after President Trump to honor the work he is doing to save the Kennedy Center.
Without those efforts, the Center will deteriorate further into an unsafe, decrepit structure that will be required to be taken down, with a determination to follow on what to build on the site, such as a large outdoor amphitheater overlooking the Potomac River that has been proposed, by some, for many years. Such a replacement will fail to adequately honor President John F. Kennedy, but would be simpler and more economical to build, operate, and maintain.
The administration is threatening to tear down the Kennedy Center and replace it with an outdoor amphitheater.
You won’t need three guesses to figure out who the new building would be named after.
