The Kind Of People Who Want To Share A Ticket With A Possible Convicted Felon

Over the weekend, it was reported that Donald Trump had narrowed down his VP choices to four men: Gov. Doug Burgum (R-ND), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), and Sen. J.D, Vance (R-OH).

After appearing at an audition that was labeled a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago, three of the four men appeared on the Sunday shows. Also appearing on a Sunday show was somebody who desperately still wants to be Trump’s running mate, Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD).

We’re not going to discuss Rubio much because he hates the US Senate and is desperate enough to do anything to get to the White House. By now, we all know Rubio. Everyone knows that if Donald Trump told him to go on television and discuss his love for racist hate groups, Rubio would be rushing to find the Fox News cameras.

It is doubtful that Trump would ever pick Rubio, so let’s just assume that Rubio went on television and did Rubio things and move on.

There is the possibility that Trump floated the promise of potentially being his running mate to these people just to get them to go on TV and defend him because Donald Trump has been very upset with the lack of support that he has been getting at his criminal trial, but if this is what it looks like when Republicans try to defend Trump, the GOP could be in serious trouble in November, as we will explore below.
