Trump's Mistake Is Your Opening To Act
Donald Trump has made a huge mistake that is an opening for resistance.

“What can I do?” This is the question I’m hearing the most right now.
This is not only a function of how the Left and Middle has operated in the political world for decades, but also a response to the intended outcome of the administration’s Blitzkrieg. A Blitzkrieg is a surprise attack on multiple fronts meant to break through an enemy’s defenses in order to defeat them quickly.
This is what’s happening right now. And all people who operate from a base of compassion and care for others are feeling what they want us to feel, which is helpless. If we feel helpless, we are conceding that Donald Trump is a King, which is their desired goal.
HIS MISTAKE
But if we peel back the last two weeks, we do not see a King. We see an erratic and depleted man who has made fatal mistakes if his goal was the backsliding of democracy completely into autocracy. I’ve been writing for years (since Trump ran the first time) about how Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán achieved this in Hungary, because he literally helped train Republicans how to do this here:
Orbán “even gave them a 12 point plan to attack liberal democracy and consolidate power… Orbán told them the path to power is to “have your own media.”
The goal was soft fascism or soft authoritarianism because it doesn’t use force, but rather changes the law before it uses the law to steal power.
… And they were making great progress!
But then Trump got back into office and in two short weeks, he has undermined the plan for an autocracy by NOT consolidating power and approval from the people. There’s been no appeasement of his base or attempt to prove his critics wrong. Instead, Trump kicked off a brutal war against all Americans starting with attacking their pocketbooks, personal privacy and freedoms.
This is an opening for your actions.
THE BIG SHOW: SHOCK AND AWE
Trump is engaging in shock and awe tactics across the board, including destabilizing a previously happy stock market, causing a temporary inability to access Medicaid in many states thereby awakening millions of people who might not otherwise even pay attention to politics, threatening food and gas prices for average Americans with his erratic tariffs, and giving the keys to the Kingdom to an unelected Elon Musk.
Musk is taking over the Treasury Department payment systems, USAID, pushing to cut billions in federal spending for social services in order to secure an extension of Trump's 2017 tax cuts for the rich which are set to expire, and announcing that IRS Direct File has been “deleted.”
Yet, Elon Musk has not been elected. He has no authority to be anywhere near these systems. This is illegal. This is an assault on our liberty and on the Constitution itself.
Much of the shock and awe was ramped up with made-for-TV news cosplay via ICE raids with dog killer and Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem sporting long hair and TV make up in her “Immigration Raid” costume, posing for effect like Republican families holding AK47s around their Christmas tree. It’s a lot of imagery. Imagery to project power that is quite simply not real and is being used to distract you from your own power.
Trump is obsessed with the image you have of him and his brand, which is how he has always operated. He is not someone who wants to govern the U.S.; he is someone who wants to appear to be the King of the U.S. He wants to be the TV King. He wants to sit at a golden desk issuing commands and attending military parades in his honor while he raids the U.S. and other countries of resources to enrich himself.
But Trump made the mistake of immediately dismantling systems with aggressive, mean-spirited, and ignorant chaos, when he should have first done things to win people over. He should have pretended he cared about The People; e.g., he should have taken action to follow through on his promise to lower grocery costs. This is how a dictator in modern times amasses the political will to finish rolling back a democracy into an autocracy.
But he didn’t do that.
The show was too important to him, perhaps because he is consumed by a need for revenge. But whatever the reason, Donald Trump is not the all-powerful being he wants you to think he is and he’s set himself up for failure in the long run — and is undermining the anti-American goals of the Heritage Foundation per Project 2025.
WHY IS HE DOING THIS
He’s flooding the zone to paralyze you while he seizes power and money.
