I presume the King requested staff to count all the silverware after the banquet ended.

The orange one is an oaf! And I don't know what to call King Charles, who found other official duties on the first state visit, so he didn't have to interact with the buffoon. I'm sure all the pomp, circumstance, and obsequiousness are to keep the narcissist mollified so deals can be made.

Please beware, GB. Mango Mussolini has never kept his word on a single agreement that didn’t benefit him personally. And he may have his eye on one of your “Crown Jewels” for a consolation prize for his mail-order bride…either the current one or the next!

I’m sure it was all an act for all of them trying to appease the stink-bomb, Donald. Ugh. Thank you for trying to reduce our tariffs.

I picture a royal family mtg discussing the atrocities in Ukraine and threat to Europe where they all agree to hold their noses and put on an act to try to get the outcome of Trump turning on Putin. I even imagined the king offering trump an estate as a "gift" for defending Ukraine.

I am extremely upset over the recent firing of Jimmy Kimmel. His comment was not inflammatory in the least! Yet, Brian Kilmeade at Fox can suggest on air we give “involuntary lethal injections” to homeless people as a solution to the problem! If THAT doesn’t warrant firing, then certainly Kimmel’s comment doesn’t!! So far, Kilmeade was allowed to apologize! TOTAL PARTISANSHIP with regard to free speech!

It wasn’t because of what he said at all. It’s a power play on orange faces part to get hold of the television stations. Trump wants them to use for his personal agenda. Look it up.

In as much as this story disgusted and sickened me, this was a great story and well written. This is a good read! We need to stop this pompous oaf and remaining silent is not the way to do it. What’s going on in America right now is extremely disturbing. I will never remain silent. Despite the threats hovering overhead.

tRump is a total embarrassment at home and on the world stage. Doubt that the Brits were enamored for a minute by our buffoon President!

First of all, reports are saying that the massive protests were larger than any we have seen in America.....where are you? Millions should be protesting in DC.

Secondly, I feel the Royals were somehow being used by their government to fawn all over a criminal and sexual predator. His comment to Kate Middleton about how beautiful she is should have given her pause, or made her vomit, but you see her in these photos very chummy with the orange pig....yes, it might be her job to charm, but give me a fucking break.

Thirdly, if somebody in the House and Senate, and companies and networks, would just tell him to back off, he would. Tell him no. Don't stand silent and capitulate to his every want.

On another note. The first Dragon Lady looked absurd in that garish yellow mistake she wore to a state dinner, oh, with a pink belt. Obviously, color blind and fashion don't. Money doesn't buy class, and in her case, any sense of fashion.

This event lowered the value of the monarchy’s approval around the world. It was a British sponsored circus with no recognition of decency and morality. Shame on the king. His reputation now has been stained

I get the Royals must remain apolitical, but TWO state visits? And going completely over the top with this one? British citizens, this is your time.

They know he loves beautiful women, preferably young, so they put Catherine next to him, perhaps to butter him up. What does that say about the royal family?

Britain's Roayal family are hypocrites. They've shunned one of their own (Prince Andrew) because of his association with Jeffery Epstein.
