The DOJ under Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who was Trump’s personal lead counsel in the classified documents case against Trump, gave Volume II of Smith’s report about Trump’s alleged mishandling of classified documents to a former prosecutor accused of leaking the same report to herself as part of their work on the case against Lineberger.
Yes, they shared with lawyers for the defense the report they’re so desperate to bury. The defendant Carmen Lineberger is accused of emailing the report to herself under the guise of it being a cake recipe.
She has pleaded not guilty.
