If I told you that there was a letter written by Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, imaginations would start to run wild. One thing is clear: no matter what the letter said, Trump would deny that it was accurate, claim it was fake, and threaten a lawsuit.
Trump has done all three of those things when asked for comment about the letter by the WSJ.
The letter was part of a group of letters collected in an album and given to Epstein for his birthday.
The Wall Street Journal reported:
The letter bearing Trump’s name, which was reviewed by the Journal, is bawdy—like others in the album. It contains several lines of typewritten text framed by the outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker. A pair of small arcs denotes the woman’s breasts, and the future president’s signature is a squiggly “Donald” below her waist, mimicking pubic hair.
The letter concludes: “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
The text of the letter is a real problem for Trump:
“Voice Over: There must be more to life than having everything,” the note began.
Donald: Yes, there is, but I won’t tell you what it is.
Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.
Donald: We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
Jeffrey: Yes, we do, come to think of it.
Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?
Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.
Trump: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.
What are the things that Trump could have in common with a pedo sex criminal like Jeffrey Epstein?
The letter itself is a political disaster for Trump. The president tried to get The Wall Street Journal to kill the story. Trump threatened to sue the WSJ if they published it. The letter is now published, and it should add gasoline to the fire as people continue to call for Trump to release the full Epstein files and client list.
If Trump has done nothing wrong, he could make all of the public outrage go away by releasing all of the Epstein information.
The letter is not criminal, but it doesn’t look good.
If Trump is innocent, why won’t he release the Epstein files and client list?
That question is now going to haunt the president every single day.
