The president has been withholding federal funding for the Gateway Project, which has been described as the nation’s most important infrastructure project, because it will connect New York and New Jersey via an underwater rail tunnel.
Trump has been blocking funding for months as he is angry with both states for not helping his ICE agents with immigration raids.
