Trump Supporters Shocked As They Are Fired From Government Jobs

Trump voters assumed that they wouldn't be the ones fired by Trump from their government jobs. They were wrong.

Donald Trump is firing government employees, potentially illegally, all over the federal government. There are stories about Trump firing disabled veterans and people who have been in government for years but switched agencies, so they were probationary employees.

The one common refrain that is starting to come up in many of these stories that some of these federal workers voted for Trump, and they are surprised that they are being fired.

WTOP reported on one disabled military vet that Trump fired from FEMA:

The termination is complicated by the fact that last November they supported Donald Trump when he sought the White House for a second term.

“I voted for Donald Trump. But this is not what I was expecting,” he said. “We didn’t think they were going to take a chainsaw to a silk rug.”
