Trump Super Bowl Interview Disaster Is Going To Cost Republicans The Midterm

Trump claimed ownership of an economy that the vast majority of Americans despise in a Super Bowl interview that is going to haunt Republicans through the midterm election.

Donald Trump keeps doubling down on his delusions about the US economy. Even though over 60% of Americans consistently in polling think that the economy is bad, Trump keeps trying to sell it as great.

If you are a billionaire like Donald Trump, the economy is wonderful, and Trump has no idea what other people are complaining about, as grocery prices seem pretty low to him.

The rest of Trump’s pre-taped interview aired during the Super Bowl pre-game show, and if Republicans were hoping to make it through the interview without one of Trump’s famous verbal landmines detonating on them, they were very disappointed.

Trump was asked by NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Llamas, “You said you inherited a mess from President Biden when it comes to the economy. But at what point is it on you? At what point are we in the Trump economy?”

This was a good question because it cut to the heart of Trump’s continuation of blaming Biden for the economy when he has been in office for more than a year.

Trump could have given a normal human answer about this being a big job, and how he is working hard to grow the economy, but this is Donald J. Trump, and lie-filled bragging is the only gear that he is capable of.

You can guess Trump’s answer.
