I am so tired of hearing that meaningless empty phrase "thoughts and prayers." It's past time to get serious about firearms legislation. The Republicans will never agree because they are so dependent on the NRA rating and funding.
What I don't understand is why Republican voting parents don't seem to care enough about the risk of losing their child in a mass shooting to actually get together at the local levels - nationwide - with other registered or right-leaning parents and let their Repub. reps in their district know their concerns. To let them know this is a priority in their lives. I mean, is it because all Republican parents are home schooling their kids and have no need to worry about school shootings? Why, oh why, does it have to fall solely on Democrats to appeal for some far, far too late rethinking about guns in America? Surely some of the children murdered in America's gun shootings have Republican voting parents, and in any Republican dominated House district (gerrymandered or not) in this country, the Repub politicians will only listen to registered Republcans. So where are these parents?
The shooter was born male and identified as female and they had a threat to Shitler written on one of their magazines, so Orange Julius Caesar will take this personally and rail about the trans community being a threat to public safety.
Common sense approach to address violence as a public health endangerment as a classification may allow for an environment to address needs of the public/ of America.

Trump sign into law carrying a concealed weapon is legal. He will also approve a tax break. Of $200 to gun manufacturers. For each silencer they sold
