Donald Trump said he will ask for an extension of the troops he’s deployed against U.S. citizens without justification in DC, when violent crime was at a 30-year low. Residents of DC are in the streets objecting.

… seatbelt violations and broken taillights.
Citizens in DC objected to having federal troops pulling drivers over for seatbelt violations. The Republican Party has long self-identified as the party of “no government overreach.”
But now they’re using the FBI and National Guard to pull people over for broken tail lights and smoking outside of their residence.
“Some people in Washington, D.C., took to the streets Wednesday night to protest President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and federal takeover of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department,” CBS News reported.
