Trump Presence In The Midterm Election Is Helping Democrats

There is a reason why Democrats are welcoming Trump’s presence in the midterm election. New data shows that having Trump in the midterm campaign helps Democrats more than Republicans.

Over the last eight years, people who work in campaigns have said that Trump is the best voter-turnout machine Democrats have. No one gets Democratic voters to the polls to vote against Republicans like Donald Trump.

Trump’s divisive style of politics combined with his epic policy failures drives Democrats to the polls in droves.

When Donald Trump’s holds one of his midterm election rallies and tells the audience to pretend like he is on the ballot, Democrats say, “Please do.”

The president keeps insisting that his rallies are saving the midterm election for the Republican Party. This belief falls in line with Trump continued belief that he is a star who drives big TV ratings and that he is the all-powerful boss that the entire world listens to.

Meanwhile, as the situation for Republicans has continued to deteriorate on the ground, the party’s operatives have grown more vocal in expressing their desire for Trump to be quiet and stay home.

This has created a conflict within the party itself, as the White House keeps sending Trump to a handful of deep red states and acting like he is saving the election, while the rest of the GOP is running away from Trump and barely mentioning his name.

Data is starting to arrive that shows Trump is a bigger help to Democrats than his own party.
