Trump Looks Ready To Quit On His Failed Iran War

The word courage has never been used to describe Donald Trump, and it looks like Trump is laying the groundwork for quitting his failed Iran war.

For the Iranian regime to win the war, it only needs to survive until Trump bails on his war of choice. As soon as Trump took regime change off the table as a stated goal of the war, the regime won.

All that is left to be decided is how many more Americans will die, and how much more economic damage will be done to the United States and the rest of the world.

On Friday, after Trump tried to put a happy face on rising gas prices, he took to his social media account to post:

We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran: (1) Completely degrading Iranian Missile Capability, Launchers, and everything else pertaining to them. (2) Destroying Iran’s Defense Industrial Base. (3) Eliminating their Navy and Air Force, including Anti Aircraft Weaponry. (4) Never allowing Iran to get even close to Nuclear Capability, and always being in a position where the U.S.A. can quickly and powerfully react to such a situation, should it take place. (5) Protecting, at the highest level, our Middle Eastern Allies, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others.

Trump’s listed objectives are all related to military operations. If the regime in Iran is a terrorist regime, why is Trump walking away and leaving it in place?

If this war were about making the world safe, the regime would not be allowed to continue in Iran.

That’s the tell, but Trump had even more TACO in store for the world.
