Trump Is Melting Down And Fighting With His Own Administration Over The Reflecting Pool
Donald Trump melted down and claimed that the evidence and the U.S. Attorney for Washington, D.C. are both wrong and that the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool was vandalized.
The majority of Americans realized a long time ago that Donald Trump is living in a delusional bubble of his own creation. Even though evidence from the earliest moments of the Reflecting Pool renovation gone wrong suggested that it was contractor error and shoddy work that caused first the algae infestation and then the pool’s liner to peel, Trump has blamed vandals.

Reality smacked Trump upside the head on Friday when the US Attorney for Washington, D.C. withdrew the criminal charges against former Olympian David Hearn because there was no evidence of vandalism.
The filing spelled out that the Reflecting Pool job was botched:
It was not until after these documents were produced that USAO-DC first became aware of information showing that the damage was the result of a botched installation and not vandalism as initially represented by DOI. Indeed, USAO-DC could only rely on the information provided by DOI that the damage was entirely caused by vandals, including the defendant in this case, David Hearn.
Trump wants to hear none of this and is attacking his own administration.
