The morning after a clergy-led protest in Minneapolis led to thousands of people taking to the streets and hundreds of businesses closing, the Trump administration has continued to escalate its undeclared war, which some would describe as a campaign to terrorize the people of Minnesota.

This is an American president doing this to the American people.

There is so much happening in our world due to this president and his administration that it is easy to gloss over what was at one time unfathomable.

A President Of The United States has unleashed Immigration and Customs Enforcement as a quasi-military force in American cities on operations that were started under the pretense of deporting criminals who are in the country illegally, but it has become a political operation that the president is using to punish states and cities where the majority of people do not support him.

Given the context of what Americans in Minneapolis and across Minnesota are facing, it takes courage to stand up and protest. Tens of thousands of people showed up to peacefully protest on Friday on a day when the windchills were more than forty below.

The biggest sign that Trump is losing is that ICE is becoming even more violent.

Carol Leoning of MS Now posted on X about ICE shooting and killing an unarmed man:

MSNOWNews reporters learning details now of ICE/CBP officers involved in shooting and killing unarmed man in Minnesota whom they were holding down on the ground.

On Saturday morning, the situation continued to unfold.

According to the Minnesota Star Tribune:

Witnesses say a man was shot by a federal agent in south Minneapolis this morning.

  • A 2-year-old detained by federal agents in Minneapolis was reunited with her mother Friday.

  • Witnesses are refuting the federal government’s repeated assertions that a 5-year-old was “abandoned” by his father before both were detained in Columbia Heights this week.

  • Two women detained by ICE say they helped an agent having a seizure while being transported to the Whipple federal building.

Donald Trump isn’t winning his war in Minnesota. This looks like his biggest failure yet.
