Usually, Super Tuesday is the second biggest election day of the presidential cycle. It is the day either when races become filled with drama or presumptive nominees are crowned. Cable news is still going through the motions and acting like Super Tuesday is still a thing.

CNN will start its coverage at 4 PM ET, and Rachel Maddow will be on MSNBC at 6 PM, but there is zero intrigue to this Super Tuesday. President Biden should continue to roll along, and Donald Trump should virtually clinch the Republican nomination against Nikki Haley.

The cable news networks are pretending that Super Tuesday is something because it is part of the horserace, and the corporate media is only interested in the horserace. So we will get to watch the cable news stars sit around for hours and try to find things to discuss.

There is one storyline that deserves attention, and that is how much damage will Nikki Haley do to Donald Trump?
