Trump Is Failing Because Americans Aren't Buying His Lies On The Economy
The biggest reason why Donald Trump is failing is because Americans refuse to believe him over their own eyes on prices and the economy.
Why is Donald Trump failing?
The simple answer is that Trump is failing because he chose to ignore why voters put him back into the White House. Trump seems to have believed that he could come back to the White House and, like magic, prices would lower, inflation would go away, wars would end, the economy would prosper, and all would be well.

Trump has been the biggest believer in his own lies.
The problem for Republicans is that enough Americans were willing to give Trump a chance to lower prices, because they were mad at Democrats, to stick him back in the Oval Office.
Donald Trump’s real agenda was always about vengeance and corruption, not doing things for the American people.
Roughly a month after winning the election, Trump told Time when asked about grocery prices, “It’s hard to bring things down once they’re up. You know, it’s very hard.”
Just to make sure the American people understood that he was going to do nothing, Trump told Sean Hannity a month later, I’m only here for two and a half weeks. That was January. You were there for a week. No, think of it. Inflation’s back. And they said, Oh, Trump inflated. I had nothing to do with it. These people have run the country. They spent money like nobody’s ever spent.”
It has now been almost a year. Inflation and prices are even higher. Trump keeps saying that inflation and prices are lower, but the vast majority of Americans aren’t buying it.
