Trump ICE Thugs Repeatedly Violently Attack Woman Protester

It's important to bear witness to the kinds of violence Donald Trump is imposing onto our country with his federalization of troops against American citizens, including the repeated abuse of a woman.
This time, ICE agents shoved, pointed a loaded gun in the face of an unarmed protester who was attempting to peacefully block a vehicle, pepper-sprayed her, grabbed her from behind and began choking her, and shoved her again — all with back up of other armed ICE agents and snipers on the roof.
“Protesters continued to attempt to blockade an ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois as operations continued in the Chicago area into Friday evening. ICE agents used pepper spray and sting balls to repel the crowd and made several arrests,” the description of the below video shared by Ford Fischer of News2Share reads (watch at that link).
A woman blocked a vehicle and so a party of ICE thugs rounded on her, and one who was within feet of her, pointed his gun at her. He was backed up by three other ICE agents behind him, as if she, unarmed other than her phone, was some kind of national security threat.
When that didn’t intimidate her, another ICE agent shoved her so hard and for many feet that she landed on the ground while the other had his gun trained on her.
She sat on the ground getting her bearings as a man wearing scrubs checked on her. Eventually, she got up and went back to very emotionally unstable ICE agents, which set one off to the point that he shoved her back with both hands with his large gun dangling from his wrist like the reckless, irresponsible and angry safety menace he clearly is.
She was undeterred and began advancing on them once she got up again. Again, she was unarmed. And wearing a skirt.
One of them sprayed her with pepper spray close up, so that half of her face was orange.
She turned to walk away from them and then sort of collapsed to the ground in a sitting position, looking unwell (to be fair, she had now been shoved to the ground twice in her skirt and had a loaded weapon pointed at her head and then been pepper sprayed up close.)
Meanwhile, the videographer captured the two snipers on the roof pointing their weapon at her, proving that the ICE agents were indeed not in any danger from an unarmed woman in a skirt.
Protesters objected to the pepper spray and general violence, saying, “We’re not threatening anyone” repeatedly.
They were screaming at the woman they just pepper sprayed to “Move!” while protesters were trying to explain that she couldn’t move because they had just pepper sprayed her.
The ICE agents then began shoving anyone around, including the man in scrubs, like petulant incels thinking they were proving their manhood by abusing unarmed people who object to Trump’s exceptionally unpopular and unlawful detainment of anyone who makes them angry.
These folks do not act like stable people and it’s likely most of them should not have access to a weapon.
When the pepper-sprayed woman failed to move quickly enough to please these trigger-happy idiots (seriously, too many of these “agents” do not seem trained on weapons, let alone on deescalation techniques), one of them wrapped his arms around her neck from behind and proceeded to choke her as protesters screamed, “No! No!”
The woman held up her fingers in a peace sign as the man continued to try to choke her.
It’s hard to tell what’s going on in the background, but it appears as if one of the other ICE agents was trying to calm the violent lunatic down enough to take his arms down from around this woman’s neck, and the violent lunatic looked like he was raging at the calmer ICE agent — but again, it’s hard to read with their cowardly face masks on and how quickly everything happened.
There might be some lesser damaged folks among these ICE agents who are maybe not ready to kill unarmed women yet. One suspects they will be demoted soon.
The problem Trump and MAGA have with sanctioning violence like this against protesters is the fact that what Trump is doing has been ruled unlawful repeatedly. He has even repeatedly mentioned suspending Habeas Corpus even though the President does NOT have the authority to suspect habeas corpus.
“Habeas Corpus has protected our rights since before America’s founding. Today, the Trump administration has threatened to suspend this right to carry out its unlawful immigration agenda,” the ACLU wrote in June. “The Trump administration floated an idea in recent weeks: suspending habeas corpus. Why? Because over and over again—including in the American Civil Liberties Union’s challenge against President Donald Trump’s illegal use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport people without due process—courts hearing habeas corpus cases have stopped the administration from carrying out massive violations of people’s constitutional rights. To get around this obstacle, administration officials now say they are looking into suspending habeas corpus altogether.”
That’s right, Donald Trump and his ICE thugs are carrying out massive violations of people’s constitutional rights. That’s why they’re being protested. The ICE thugs are not the people upholding the law; that would be the protesters.
The Trump administration “is systematically locking up immigrants while they contest the government's attempts to deport them,” Politico reported, in a piece pointing out that judges keep saying this is illegal.
“Trump’s new detention policy targets millions of immigrants. Judges keep saying it’s illegal.”
In late August, a federal court blocked the Trump administration’s fast-track deportation policy, which critics argue bypasses or limits due process.
“We are glad the judge recognized the immense due-process problems posed by this administration’s reckless expansion of expedited removal. This policy has inflicted enormous harms on MRNY’s members and community, and it has to stop. We will continue to defend our communities from unconstitutional attacks levied by this administration, because we are here to stay,” said Harold Solis, co-legal director of Make the Road New York.
So the protesters appear to be trying to peacefully obstruct what they see as an unlawful detainment of people who are being deprived of their due process rights. In other words, they have the moral and legal high ground. The protesters are the ones standing up for American values, for liberty and for freedom.
Every person on US soil is entitled to due process.
This is Trump’s America. Armed, violent thugs get to abuse women and point loaded guns at them as one imagines many of them do in their personal lives. But this time they’re paid and cheered on by the MAGA base who are too uninformed to understand that this violence will be turned on them one day.
Trump is the one inciting violence all around this country, which is to be expected from a convicted felon found liable for fraud and rape. He is claiming he is imposing “law and order” but what he’s really doing is imposing violence on anyone who is standing up for basic liberty and the rule of law.
The comments under the video are even more troubling, as user after user urges more violence and justifies the use of force based on their notion of the protesters' politics and personal beliefs.
So this is what the Right has become — a movement that calls for violence against people for what they imagine they think and feel and believe. Because of course it’s not just online in response to this video, but also they are policing people’s reactions to Charlie Kirk’s death and if people aren’t sad enough or if they don’t think it’s a big loss, the Right is reporting them to their job with the express intention of getting them fired.
They have literally become the thought police they’ve been raging about for decades.
This thuggish, brutal, and stupid violence against a white woman is not great optics for them. And it’s exactly why white people are needed in protests and on the front lines.
When Americans see photos of these armed and masked losers pointing a gun at a woman who has done nothing but stand in front of a vehicle in hopes of deterring ICE, Trump loses more support. His movement loses more support. His movement becomes more associated with violence.
