Trump Humiliated And Forced To Beg Putin To Stop The Killing In Ukraine
As Putin launches worst attack on Ukraine in months he is also humiliating Donald Trump by refusing to honor the deal Trump said Putin was ready for, and now Trump is begging him to stop killing.

As Putin launched the worst attack on Ukraine in months, President Donald Trump is doing the equivalent of sending a sternly worded letter to the man Trump refused to criticize.
“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying. Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”
That’s the President of the United States communicating with the Russian President via a post on Truth Social, in case anyone was wondering how degraded his level of professional statesmanship is exactly. And it’s in reaction to Putin launching the worst attack on Ukraine in months.
It’s not just soldiers dying, either.
Odd that the American President did not acknowledge in his Truth Social post that 12 people, including two children, died in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv early Thursday. That attack also injured more than 70 people.
Russia “pounded Kyiv with an hours-long barrage of missiles and drones Thursday, killing at least 12 people in its deadliest assault on the Ukrainian capital.”
Additionally, the BBC reported, “Nine people were earlier killed and dozens more wounded in the eastern Ukrainian city of Marhanets when a Russian drone hit a bus carrying workers.”
Trump Had Just Announced that Russia Was Ready for His Deal
These attacks come as and on the heels of Trump declaring on Wednesday that Putin was “ready” for a deal. Trump elaborated that he found Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy difficult to deal with, which reads like Zelenskyy doesn’t bow down to Trump. In other words, Zelenskyy is the kind of man Trump can’t understand - a man of convictions and moral courage. And since he can’t brutalize or threaten Zelenskyy into submission, Trump is annoyed.
Trump accused Zelenskyy of hurting “peace” negotiations by refusing to accept Russian control of Crimea. In other words, Trump’s notion of “peace” is to cede the land Putin wants to Putin and for Ukraine to stop fighting back.
Trump denounced Zelenskyy for being tough and fighting for his country, writing that his refusal to accept Trump’s terms “will do nothing but prolong" the war.
It can’t be forgotten that Trump’s “peace” deal is to divide illegally invaded territory and give to the illegal invader. (Here you go, Vlad buddy! You win! Now I want a Nobel Prize so I can be like Obama.)
Giving in is Trump’s idea of “fight, fight, fight”. — unless it’s him fighting off convictions or when he sympathizes with the illegal aggressor.
Giving in to Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea “would not only be politically impossible for Zelensky to accept, it would also be contrary to post-war international legal norms that borders should not be changed by force,” the BBC explained.
"There's nothing to talk about here. This is against our constitution," Zelenskyy said.
Betrayal
Trump’s fiercest defenders excuse this act of betrayal of the values the United States is supposed to represent in the world, and the reason we have been a superpower. They see this as just another “deal” Trump is making, when he is trying to force Ukraine to violate their constitution to give in to an illegal invader.
What kind of American president shamelessly makes the argument that Ukraine should just carve up its country because Putin wants it?
Trump is no doubt hoping to get coverage about how tough he was on Putin with his social media post. But Trump didn’t even say this to Putin’s face, he put it on his social media platform like a Real Housewives of DC Easter egg fight.
But the real question now is, if Trump’s buddy Vlad doesn’t stop, what’s Trump going to do? Publicly begging Vlad to stop makes Trump look as weak and subservient as we all suspect he is to Putin, but if Putin does not stop, that will permanently brand Trump as obsequious to Putin.
I am wracking my brain for a justification for Donald Trump’s position on Ukraine that is anything other than submission to Putin. If he just hates war, he’d tell Putin to stop illegally invading Ukraine. But Donald Trump halted military aid to Ukraine in early March very deliberately.
Donald Trump’s story as president has always been surrounded with suspicions of Russian collusion, and while his people have done a bang up job gaslighting Americans over the Mueller report via Bill Barr’s mischaracterization of it and by screaming “Trump derangement syndrome!” and “Russia, Russia, Russia!” at anyone who brings it up, here we are.
Right back at Russia.
Who cares what anyone gets Putin to “say”. Putin (along with the USA) already made a promise to Ukraine when they asked them to give up their nuclear weapons. Ukraine held up its end of the deal…Russia and now the US have reneged. Clearly their (Putin and Trump) words mean nothing so why make more deals with them?
I understand Zelensky's need to be diplomatic, but surely, he understands that Trump is not on the side of the Ukrainian people. Time for Zelensky to move on from the United States. Zelensky told Trump Putin's word was meaningless. I can't speak for Zelensky, but I hope he understands Trump's word is less than meaningless. Trump is performing for an audience of one, Putin's. The only thing that would humiliate Trump is if his diaper failed or his hair got rained on and people could see how severe his comb overs really is.
