Trump was asked at the White House about what he knew about Ghislaine Maxwell’s transfer to a minimum security facility and he said:
I didn't know about it at all. No. I read about it just like you did. It's not a very uncommon thing.
…
Well, he's let me tell you, he's a very talented man. His name is Todd Blanche. He's a very legitimate person, very high, just a very highly thought of person, respected by everybody. And I didn't talk to him about it. But I will tell you that whatever he asked would be totally appropriate. And it's not an uncommon thing to do that. And I think he probably wants to make sure that, you know, people that should not be involved or aren't involved are not hurt by something that would be very, very unfortunate, very unfair to a lot of people.
But I will say this Todd Blanche is one of the most highly respected people you'll ever meet. So I know this. I didn't discuss it with him, but anything he talked about with her, or the fact that he did that not unusual. Number one. And most importantly, is something that would be totally above board.

Trump can’t decide what he is. Is Trump the all-knowing, strong president who is completely in charge, or is he the president who doesn’t know what his own high-ranking member of the DOJ is doing?
Each time Trump is asked about Epstein and Maxwell, he looks incredibly weak. Trump was pretending that he didn’t know what his DOJ, full of Trump loyalists, was doing.
Trump can’t defend Maxwell getting moved to a minimum security facility, so he needs to play dumb.
The problem is that every time Trump plays dumb on anything involving Epstein, he only looks more guilty.
Contrary to what the president claimed, experts say that it is extemely uncommon for a person with Maxwell’s convictions and sentence to be moved to a minimum security facility.
The Epstein questions follow Trump everywhere he goes, and each new answer that he gives only helps to cement the perception that he is guilty into the minds of many Americans.

Trump has been a micromanager his whole life so odds are that continues. However, with his demonstrable cognitive decline, it’s hard to say what he knows, what he remembers, and who is really making decisions because clearly he’s lost more than a step. One thing is certain, he can’t have the best memory and be this ignorant about what is going on in his own administration.
Guilty and stupid at that. The gibberish he uses when answering any question is spectacularly juvenile. Is he really our President?
