Trump Has Never Been Under This Kind Of Intense Investigation

Donald Trump has faced a lot of investigations. Going back to the 1970s, he and his father were under investigation and later found to be guilty of housing discrimination. Trump has been investigated for bribery, corruption, and even ties to Asian organized crime.

The Justice Department investigated Trump for housing discrimination and later sued him, but he has never been under the sort of investigation that Special Counsel Jack Smith is undertaking.

CNN reported:

At least two dozen people – from Mar-a-Lago resort staff to members of Donald Trump’s inner circle at the Florida estate – have been subpoenaed to testify to a federal grand jury that’s investigating the former president’s handling of classified documents, multiple sources familiar with the investigation told CNN.
