may be very wrong about this, but it seems that with the Iran bombing and his subsequent de-escalation (as welcome as that may be), Trump has simply made another TACO , and just kicked the can down the road. He hasn’t destroyed Iran’s nuclear-bomb-making capability; he just set it back a few years. To do more, to really force Iran to make a meaningful agreement, would probably have cost some American lives, and he’s too weak to do that.
