Trump Deploys National Guard to Los Angeles After Leaving Children Traumatized
The party of "family values" has revealed its craven agenda by deploying the National Guard after a terrifying ICE raid on an elementary school graduation that left children traumatized.

“Terrible things are happening outside. At any time of night and day, poor helpless people are being dragged out of their homes…Families are torn apart; men, women and children are separated. Children come home from school to find that their parents have disappeared,” ~~ Anne Frank, 01/13/1943
Donald Trump illegally deployed the National Guard to Los Angeles after his ICE agents aggressively performed what appears to be an ongoing act of performative terrorism on a minority community.
The backstory leading up to this includes the fact that ICE raids over the last few days escalated in Los Angeles to reportedly include a raid on an elementary school graduation that left children traumatized as they were separated from their parents.
ICE also went after protesters all over Los Angeles who were, they say, peacefully protesting the raids.
People like the co-founder of Latinas for Trump keep saying they didn’t vote for this; they voted for “criminals” to be deported, but violent criminals were *already* being deported by both Obama and Biden. This is what they voted for.
Terrifying children is what they voted for:
“An incident involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has sparked outrage and concern after agents disrupted an elementary school graduation ceremony in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood within the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). What was meant to be a joyful celebration of student achievement quickly turned into a scene of chaos and fear for parents, teachers, and children alike,” El Periodico USA reported. “According to witnesses, the presence of ICE agents caused immediate panic. Many parents, afraid of being detained, fled the area in a rush. The situation was worsened by the fact that most parents weren’t carrying their legal documents—understandably so, as attending an elementary school ceremony, particularly without driving, is not where one expects to need them. Teachers were left to manage a group of terrified, hysterical children, struggling to restore calm amidst the confusion…
Community members voiced anger over what they described as intimidation tactics and a disregard for the safety and mental well-being of families and children.”

I beleive this to be the date of the “staff” writer creation, as social media reports corroborate the ICE raid at an elementary school in Los Angeles and the article is in the top of the recent news section.)
Here’s a social media post about the ICE raid on the school graduation:

In other raids, ICE barricaded themselves inside a federal building and threw tear gas at protesters. ICE has claimed they were justified because the crowd was “violent.”
However, the raids were so “aggressive” per the (conservative) Los Angeles Times that they “sparked backlash,” which is not the same thing as protesters starting the violence.
The detention center is reportedly overcrowded according to immigration rights advocates and people do not have access to food or water on schedule, the LA Times continued:
Immigration rights advocates said conditions at the Metropolitan Detention Center downtown had become overcrowded, with 200 people packed into a facility built to hold only 100.
“They didn’t have access to food and water on a schedule. They definitely don’t have access to their medicines,” said U.S. Rep. Jimmy Gomez (D-Los Angeles), who arrived at the facility to check conditions Saturday morning along with fellow representatives Luz Rivas (D-North Hollywood), Norma Torres (D-Pomona) and Lou Correa (D-Santa Ana).
ICE used tear gas against civilians, which is banned in warfare under international treaties but used by law enforcement against riots. However, its use raises serious human rights concerns.
“The unrest in the city of Paramount, Los Angeles, which started on Friday, comes after immigration raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials, who have been using tear gas and what they call "less lethal munitions,” the BBC reported.
The raids were described as being led by “military-gear-clad ICE agents” by the SEIU, who sent a press release to us because “SEIU, USWW President David Huerta was assaulted, injured and detained while peacefully observing. While he has been released from the hospital, he remains in federal custody.”
Peacefully observing got him sent to the hospital and then detained in federal custody.
That doesn’t add up with the story being told by ICE that the problem originated with the protesters, although in every protest, there will be people who are more prone to fighting back, and when the interactions begin to be militarized, they are unlikely to be peaceful.
Trump “border czar” Tom Homan told Fox News that 2,000 National Guard troops would be deployed to Los Angeles, but Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said yesterday that they hadn’t arrived yet. Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom warned that Trump’s deploying the guard would be "purposefully inflammatory" and would "only escalate tensions."
So naturally Trump sent the National Guard in and they have arrived in Los Angeles, according to the BBC. “We can confirm that California National Guard troops have now arrived in Los Angeles. The first group got here a few hours ago from San Bernardino county. They’re currently gathering outside the downtown LA detention centre, where illegal immigrants are taken after being detained.”
Some ICE agents have been stranded in a shipping container in Africa, so the gig has its downfalls but seems to attract the type of people who enjoy harming innocent people with no accountability. ICE agents under Trump often hide their identities, as if they are above the rules that apply to the police.
The SEIU asked people to call the Senate at 1-833-312-1711 to “demand they fight to free David Huerta & stop ICE raids!”
California lawmakers need to make a huge showing at this reportedly overcrowded detention facility and raise awareness of the military type tactics being deployed against people for protesting ICE raids on peaceful community events like an elementary school graduation.
Republicans have already been all over the news blasting the “left” for their protests, but the truth is that a militarized ICE being turned on people within their own country is an act against freedom and liberty that no one should condone. People are protesting that fact. The violence that is stemming from these tactics originated with the administration that condones it and is egging it on in order to justify further torture and inhumane treatment.

john king (MY HUMBLE OPINION)
Trump is salivating at the prospect of declaring a state of emergency. He is impatient to show off “his” military might, in California, the state he hates.
The train loads of army equipment arriving in DC for Trump’s birthday parade next weekend are extreme. This is reminiscent of Russia massing forces on Ukraine’s border, on the whims of the OTHER mad dictator Putin. Allowing Trump to inundate the nation’s capitol with the military he commands, may turn out to be the gravest error ever made by America. Trump’s third-world style authoritarian ambitions cannot be denied or downplayed. This threat is ominous and can’t be taken lightly.
This is madness and is utterly deliberate and intentional, meant to distract from Trump's failures. Trump wants martial law and to quash dissent before his big parade. What will happen in DC next Saturday? Will he use the military to attack Congress? The DC courts (not the Supremes, of course)? Will he invoke the Insurrection Act? How the hell are we going to stop this? The guardrails have failed and are gone. Welcome to the Fourth Reich and the new stormtroopers.
