Donald Trump excels at destroying companies after sucking them dry of anything he and his grifter entourage and family can hoover up for themselves to hoard. They have a lifestyle to maintain, after all, of ethics-free self-enrichment and transactional relationships.

These are the people who embody the morally decayed characters in Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, who inflict immense damage and suffering on others without flinching.

Shot: Reuters reported Trump bragging on Tuesday about world leaders “lining up to kiss ‘my a**’ in a bid to reduce the levies”:

“Please, Sir, make a deal. I’ll do anything. I’ll do anything, Sir,” he mocked in a simpering voice at the National Republican Congressional Committee's annual fundraising gala.

Chaser: Reuters noted that Trump officials “who just one day earlier said the president would never back down – claimed ‘this was his strategy all along’ and ‘the art of the deal’ at work.

While most of the Fox Entertainment hosts were doing their best Russian State TV imitations to praise Dear Leader as the bestest genius to have ever hit the planet, at least one of them refused to swallow the lies.
