Trump Administration Blasts Democrats For Protecting Americans' Healthcare
The Trump administration is blasting Democrats for having a 'wish list' of protecting tens of millions of Americans' healthcare from Trump cuts.
The Trump administration sent out emails blasting Democrats for having a ‘wish list’ in budget negotiations, as Democrats demand that healthcare be saved from Trump cuts.
Republicans even went so far as to refuse to allow Americans to keep their healthcare while Democrats and Republicans negotiated on funding, and so Republicans voted no on Democrats’ funding proposal.
Republicans are calling healthcare for Americans a “wish list.”

The White House then turned its front page into a slick banner of ads blaming Democrats for the Trump shutdown under a Republican trifecta of power. They topped this off with an email being sent out to various agencies to be forwarded, which also blames Democrats for a shutdown happening under Republican power.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development even posted a notice on its website on Tuesday, warning that the “Radical Left are going to shut down the government and inflict massive pain on the American people unless they get their $1.5 trillion wish list of demands.”
In case you missed the point, they ALSO have a pop-up warning you like a broken website. Yes, HUD also has a pop-up on top of the banner blaming the “radical left” for trying to save Americans from Trump’s healthcare cuts, while they swear they are here to help “Americans in need.”
A moment of silence for the radical left, who fought so valiantly in the Budget War of 2025 to try to save healthcare for tens of millions of Americans and were insulted and abused for it by the people who want everyone to know that healthcare is not a right.
Federal News Network pointed out that this raised “questions about a potential Hatch Act violation as the White House squares off with congressional Democrats over a government funding deadline.”
All of this is about Democrats trying to save the American people from the deadly healthcare cuts Trump and Republicans passed.
It should be pointed out relentlessly that Trump and Republicans are calling basic healthcare access like the ACA subsidies a “wish list.”
They have not offered to give up their government-funded healthcare, so why are they stealing it from the people?
And of course, the ACA subsidies do not fully fund healthcare for Americans, but rather offer an affordable way to buy insurance that is subsidized based on income. In other words, as Jesus would have wanted it, vulnerable people are not left to die due to lack of money.
The 2025 Congressional Health Plan Guide from insurer CareFirst shows the incredible plans for our lawmakers and their staff. They have access to this while they cut funding for healthcare insurance access for about 22 million Americans:
Hey, while they cut affordable diabetes drugs for you, the most standard plan they use have now been dubbed “essential plans” — yes, their healthcare is literally called ESSENTIAL, and these are HMO/PPO Gold, which is very good. And one part of what makes it so “essential” is that “include select benefits covered at no cost in network for members with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease or cerebrovascular disease. Mental health treatment for children 18 and under is provided with $5 cost sharing on select benefits.”
A pause for the glaring hypocrisy and cruelty.
