Tim Scott is a Black Republican presidential hopeful who tells white people what they want to hear about racism, which is that it is not a systemic problem.
Tim Scott (R-SC), the first Black Republican from the South elected to the Senate since Reconstruction, was on The View on Monday to talk about systemic racism. Unable to say what he really thinks about it, given the Republican platform under which he is running, Scott spent his time waxing poetic about how much progress there has been.
