A group is set to Protest Congress upon their return on September 2, to show them they can't vacation their way out of the Epstein Files.
“Show Congress that they can't vacation their way out of the Epstein files. Our president is an adjudicated rapist who has flown with Epstein, instigated a deadly insurrection on our Capitol, and committed many other impeachable offenses.”
”0n 9/2, we say ENOUGH is ENOUGH,” the group “24/7 non-violent protest against the regime in DC” group FLARE wrote on an Instagram post encouraging people to show up in protest when Congress returns on September 2.

Hours after Republican Speaker Mike Johnson shut down the House until September in an effort to prevent a vote to release the Epstein files, House Republicans voted to block the release of Jeffrey Epstein’s financial files.
The financial files reportedly include information that Epstein paid a billion plus dollars to women from Eastern European countries like Belarus and Russia. The New York Times reported:
The single largest suspicious activity report reviewed by the congressional team was filed in late 2019 by JPMorgan for $1.1 billion. The report covered 4,700 transactions dating to 2003, including payments to women from Belarus, Russia and Turkmenistan. Many of Mr. Epstein’s victims included young women from Eastern European countries.
Senator Ron Wyden (D-Ore) has been tracking Epstein’s financial dealings for three years and continues to urge that the Treasury Department follow the money.
And then when House Oversight Committee Democrats achieved a surprise committee vote to order the DOJ to release the Epstein files, Republican Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) used it to help the Trump cover-up.
We reported on the 23rd, the DOJ released less than 1% of the Epstein files.
Rep. Khanna said on MSNBC, “We now have a fact that only 3% of the documents that were given to us were new. 97% were already in the public domain, and less than 1% of the Epstein files have actually been released. The Epstein files are 300 GB. We know this because that's what the FBI has said, and they've released less than one gigabyte. So they've released less than 1%. And of the less than 1% they've released, 97% is still in the public record. Bottom line, they're stonewalling and not releasing things.”
We can all see where this is going, because Trump himself has let us know that if he is in the files, it’s a hoax and a Democratic plot, but if Democrats are in the files then that’s a problem.
For some reason, Trump’s base is easily placated with clearly self-serving lies.
Still, Donald Trump’s Epstein cover-up is a gigantic middle finger to his base. Trump promised that he would release the Epstein files, and some of his most fervent supporters have been fueled with Q-Anon conspiracies about a global cabal of child-sex traffickers comprised of Mr. Trump’s opposition. It turns out that there is a global cabal of people involved in helping Epstein keep his secret, but at the top of those assistants is Donald Trump.
The would be Q-Anon hero has been made to look complicit via his cover-up.
FLARE says on its website that it’s a nonviolent, entirely volunteer-powered movement “located mere blocks from the Capitol in Washington D.C. Our Resistance Action Center” and that they are the “only continuously operating, 24/7 effort to dismantle the 47th President’s fascist regime.”
They have consistent protests going on right now, including weekly 4 PM Monday afternoon protest outside of the Heritage Foundation where they catch “Nazis” responsible for Project 2025 as they leave work. (One might ask why Nazis get to leave work at 4 PM when they expect the rest of us to work around the clock to afford their policies.)
Their calendar of protests is here.
I’ll leave you with Robby Roadsteamer’s short and very NSFW “Trump was on the Epstein plane”:

The House GOP will do just enough to placate the American people and the press, but will stop short of a full-blown reveal of all the files. Expect delays, missing pages, lots and lots of redactions and anything that would seriously implicate Trump in the slightest of meetings with Epstein or Maxwell.
