In a Manhattan courtroom, a hard-working jury of citizens doing their civic duty under exceptionally difficult circumstances found Donald J. Trump guilty of all 34 felony counts for falsification of business records in a late Thursday afternoon verdict.
This means that the Republican presumptive nominee for president is a convicted felon. (Updated: Trump will likely be able to vote in the election if not incarcerated, but he will require an exemption, which Gov. Ron DeSantis will give him. )
The sentencing date is July 11 at 10 AM, which is just days before the Republican convention, during which he is expected to accept their nomination for president.
