The Public Wants Medicaid And ACA Cuts Reversed, But Only Democrats Are Fighting For Them
The public wants OBBB Medicaid changes reversed, and they also want the ACA tax credits to continue. So why is it that it's only Democrats who are negotiating for these things?

The mainstream media presents the government shutdown showdown as a partisan brawl, with Democrats reportedly demanding a reversal of Trump’s OBBB undermining of Medicaid as well as a continuation of the ACA tax credits.
Given Trump’s devastating economy, shouldn’t all legislators be going to bat for The People?
Given Trump’s devastating economy, shouldn’t Republicans want to soften the appearance that they are radically transforming wealth in this country for their donors with a shift from the poor to the rich?
The media presents Democrats wanting to help people as their partisan agenda that benefits them, when it seems very much as if that is not accurate. After all, most Americans had no idea what President Joe Biden had done for them economically, because the same media claimed it wasn’t their job to tell people.
The public doesn’t really know who is fighting for Medicaid for them, but they do know that Trump’s tariffs are making things even more expensive. They know his OBBB is shutting down rural hospitals in their areas. They know grocery prices continue to skyrocket. They know these things because they are experiencing them directly, unlike the OBBB changes to Medicaid, which Republicans have planned to go into effect *after* people vote in the midterms, almost as if they know people don’t like being put on a Death Panel so the rich can get even more tax cuts.
If Democrats are just expected to always fight for the People, then their position should be framed that way by the media.
