The Pep Rally For The Generals Is A Total Trump Scam

The "pep rally" that Pete Hegseth will be holding after he summoned generals from the world will also be attended by Trump. The pep rally is now a full-blown propaganda publicity stunt.

The White House tried to play coy and amp up the drama associated with Pete Hegeth summoning all of the generals from around the Virginia for a meeting. Some imaginations ran wild with the worst-case scenario about US military operations at home or abroad, but the timing of the event was the first clue about the real intention.

Secretary of Defense Hegseth just so happened to schedule this event on the same day of what could be the beginning of a government shutdown.

Secretary of Defense Hegseth just so happened to schedule this event on the same day of what could be the beginning of a government shutdown.

The White House soon described the event as a “pep rally” where the generals were to be motivated and instructed by a former Fox and Friends Weekend co-host on “warrior ethos.”

At first, Trump and his White House denied that he would be attending the rally, but nobody should have believed that.

It is now being reported that Donald Trump will be there.

CNN reported:

President Donald Trump plans to attend a surprise gathering of top generals and admirals this week, two sources familiar with the matter said, adding a new dynamic to a meeting that’s been described as a “pep rally” for top military brass.

The gathering, set for Tuesday in Virginia, was originally intended as a way for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to describe the administration’s reinvention of the Department of Defense as the “Department of War” and outline new standards for military personnel, according to half a dozen people familiar with the planning.

The cost of the plane tickets alone to fly hundreds of generals from around the world to Virginia is thought to be millions of dollars, and military officials have expressed concerns about the cost of the event.

There have been concerns dating back to the first Trump administration that the president was politicizing the military, and now he has taken it to a whole different level.
